Capa chess is a chess program written in java(TM).

java JRE 1.7 or later.
Run the jar either double-clicking the jar, or from the command line:
java -jar capa-xxx-installer.jar
The installer creates a shortcut to Capa chess. If the shortcut is not created, you can run Capa chess, executing run.bat for Windows or run.sh for Linux.
Unzip (or untar for gz version) in a directory.
A directory named "capa" will be created. Then you can run Capa chess, executing run.bat for Windows or run.sh for Linux.
